Blanket Contract

I have a blanket. Frankly, it's hideous. {It has a strange tiger pattern on it.} But it's very soft and comfortable to sleep with. Our kids argue over it all the time. So tonight we facilitated while Addy and Joseph had a discussion about how to "share custody" of the blanket. They came up with their own terms, Addy wrote the contract, reviewed it with Joseph then they both signed and dated it. Deland and I are both so proud of them. Now, if we can consistently do this as parents, I think our kids might have a decent shot at being successful humans. :-) #qbq #parenting
